Public Recruitment for 9th Korean Culture and Arts Committee Member Candidates Open Until March 20
The Korean Culture and Arts Committee’s Nomination Committee announced on March 5 that it will publicly recruit candidates for the 9th term of the Korean Culture and Arts Committee until 6:00 p.m. on March 20.
The nomination committee, established in accordance with the Culture and Arts Promotion Act, consists of civilian members from various fields of culture and the arts. It oversees the entire process of public recruitment, screening, and nomination of committee members. This round of recruitment is searching for candidates for committee members in six fields: literature, fine arts, music, dance, theater, and traditional arts.
The Korean Culture and Arts Committee is a commission responsible for managing culture and arts promotion projects as well as the Culture and Arts Promotion Fund. Its members not only participate in the committee’s operations but also make key decisions regarding the overall direction of its projects.
