Ahead of the First Move-In at the 3rd New Towns... Vice Minister Kim Inspects Incheon Gyeyang and Bucheon Daejang
Kim Itak: "Operate a one-stop support center to prevent inconvenience"
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that on March 3, Kim Itak, First Vice Minister of the Ministry, visited the Incheon Gyeyang and Bucheon Daejang Public Housing Districts in succession to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the move-in preparations for the 3rd New Town and the safety management practices during the thawing season.
The Incheon Gyeyang A2 and A3 complexes, which Vice Minister Kim visited, will be the first among the 3rd New Towns to begin move-ins. A total of 1,285 households are scheduled to move in December this year.

View original imageVice Minister Kim instructed related organizations, including Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), to "thoroughly check every aspect until the move-in process is completed, given the high public expectations, and to fully prepare by operating a one-stop support center to ensure that residents do not experience any inconvenience."
Vice Minister Kim also emphasized the importance of safety during the thawing season. He stated, "This is a period when the risk of accidents increases due to ground weakening," and instructed, "Inspect vulnerable areas in advance and maintain an on-site management system to respond immediately if any signs of abnormality are detected."

He also mentioned process management to accelerate the pace of housing supply. Vice Minister Kim said, "Housing supply is directly linked to the stability of people's lives," and requested, "Please proactively address any factors causing delays in project schedules so that the government's goal of expanding supply can be achieved."
