Korea Manhwa Contents Agency and SBS A&T Sign Agreement to Nurture AI Webtoon Talent
Joint Development of AI-Based Creative Training Curriculum
Applying Educational Achievements Proven at BIFAN to Webtoons
The Korea Manhwa Contents Agency announced on March 3 that it has signed a business agreement with SBS A&T to nurture professionals specializing in comics and webtoons for the AI era.
The agreement aims to combine the agency's existing educational system with SBS A&T's expertise in AI content production, facilitating a stable transition for the webtoon industry. Moving forward, the two organizations will jointly develop AI-based creative training curriculums and exchange technological know-how.
They also plan to leverage their industry networks to cultivate talent specialized in webtoons. In particular, SBS A&T will expand the achievements of its AI video content education, showcased at last year's Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, to the fields of comics and webtoons, transferring practical skills to trainees.
