This year, more than 10,000 entries were submitted from 68 countries worldwide across nine disciplines, including Product, Branding & Communication, and User Experience (UX). A panel of 129 international jurors evaluated the entries comprehensively, assessing design innovation, communication effectiveness, social impact, user experience, and other factors to select the winners.
The ministry explained that this award recognizes how KOREA has integrated Korea's national image, including its culture and arts, into a modern visual language, and how it has effectively combined editorial design and content so that international readers can intuitively understand it.
