Shinhan Bank to Specially Recruit Around 30 Successful CPA Candidates
Shinhan Bank announced that starting on the 19th, it will conduct a special recruitment program for successful candidates of the Certified Public Accountant (second-round exam), hiring around 30 people.
This special recruitment aims to secure outstanding talent with specialized accounting expertise in advance and to strengthen competitiveness in various areas such as corporate finance (IB), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and industry credit review, which are core businesses in future finance. The bank also expects that it will make a practical contribution to addressing the recent issue of increasing numbers of so-called "unassigned accountants" who have passed the CPA exam but have not yet begun their practical training.
The successful candidates will be assigned to roles that allow registration for practical training, so that their expertise can be directly connected to on-site work from the very start of their careers.
Applications will be accepted from this day until March 13, and candidates will be selected through a document screening process followed by first and second-round interviews. During the interviews, the bank plans to focus on assessing problem-solving skills required for the job, basic financial knowledge, and communication competencies.
