Immediately after the positive confirmation, the Livestock Sanitation and Quarantine Support Headquarters deployed an initial response team, imposed movement restrictions on the farm, and controlled vehicle access. Livestock quarantine officers and on-site control personnel were dispatched to carry out an on-site investigation and an epidemiological survey.
The city immediately convened a situation assessment meeting and activated an emergency quarantine response system. It drew up a plan for the swift culling of pigs at the farm and designated the area within a 10 km radius of the farm as a quarantine zone. It is making all-out efforts to prevent further spread by formulating specific measures for movement restrictions, disinfection, and monitoring.
