"Contributing to the Standardization of Emergency Medical Education"
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) announced on the 13th that Professor Lee Seulgi of the Department of Emergency Medical Technology received the "Best Faculty" award at the 2026 annual general meeting organized by the Korean Association of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (KACPR).
The "Best Faculty" award of the Korean Association of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is given to outstanding experts among the "Faculty" members who train instructors and evaluate and supervise training centers in the Korean Advanced Life Support (KALS) program, which is offered to physicians, paramedics, nurses, and university students in related departments.
As a KALS Faculty member, Professor Lee Seulgi has participated in the KALS Instructor Course, training professional instructors who lead the educational field. In addition, by performing quality improvement work that evaluates and manages the appropriateness of the operation of KALS Training Sites nationwide, she has contributed to enhancing the reliability and professionalism of education.
This award is regarded as recognition of her contribution to improving the quality of emergency medical education by effectively applying the association's standardized educational model in the field and by faithfully participating in evaluation activities aimed at narrowing competency gaps among educational institutions.
Professor Lee Seulgi said, "The role of Faculty is to support the accurate delivery of the standardized educational guidelines pursued by the association in the field and to maintain a high-quality educational environment. I will do my best, in cooperation with fellow Faculty members, to help healthcare professionals receive the best possible education and, through this, to further strengthen the emergency medical system in Korea."
