Espisoft Net Profit Jumps 1,163% Last Year...Accelerating Data Center-Based Growth
Espisoft announced on the 12th that, on a consolidated basis, its net profit for last year came to 3.8 billion won, up 1,163% from the same period a year earlier. During the same period, sales grew 21% to 54.5 billion won, and operating profit was 3.6 billion won, maintaining a profit-making trend.
The strong performance was driven not only by its core business of supplying artificial intelligence (AI) software (SW) products, but also by increased data center revenue generated through its subsidiaries. In particular, as one-off costs related to its 2024 SPAC merger listing and share-swap expenses incurred during the acquisition of Uhost were cleared, net profit jumped significantly last year.
Espisoft currently supplies a wide range of SW products based on its status as a master distributor for Microsoft (MS) SPLA (Service Provider License Agreement). Recently, it obtained Adobe VIP (Value Incentive Plan) MP (Marketplace) partner status and launched an integrated software platform that combines its existing licenses, thereby expanding its business scope to AIaaS (AI as a Service).
