Kyobo Life Insurance has been selected as one of the "Most Respected Companies in Korea" for the fourth consecutive year.
Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 11th that it ranked first in the life insurance industry category in the "2026 Most Respected Companies in Korea" survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC). The awards ceremony was held on February 10 at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, and was attended by Kyobo Life Insurance President and CEO Cho Dae-kyu.
The "Most Respected Companies in Korea" survey is a leading corporate evaluation index in Korea that comprehensively assesses all value areas of a company. Now in its 23rd year, the survey selects companies based on criteria such as innovation capability, customer value, social value, shareholder value, employee value, and brand image value.
This year's survey was conducted over about two months starting in September last year, targeting a total of 11,240 respondents, including 7,040 industry workers, 542 securities industry experts, and 3,658 general consumers.
Since 2023, Kyobo Life Insurance has ranked first in the life insurance industry category for four consecutive years, once again proving its high level of customer trust. In addition, it has been included for three consecutive years in the "All Star" list, which selects the top 30 companies among all industries surveyed.
In particular, Kyobo Life Insurance received scores significantly higher than the life insurance industry average in all evaluation areas. In the survey, many respondents described it as a "trustworthy company" and a "company that strives for customer satisfaction."
President Cho Dae-kyu said, "The true value of insurance lies in customers subscribing to products they truly need and receiving the promised coverage at the most critical moment," adding, "We will do our utmost to realize complete protection for customers across the entire process, from enrollment and policy maintenance to claims payment."
Kyobo Life Insurance introduced the "Lifetime Support Service" in 2011, the first in the industry to support customers in maintaining their coverage, and has consistently pursued customer-centric management, as evidenced by obtaining Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) certification for 10 consecutive terms.
In addition, based on its philosophy of sustainable management, the company is promoting stakeholder-oriented management and environmental (E), social (S), and governance (G) management, while also strengthening innovation in its insurance business and its ethical responsibilities as a corporate citizen.
