Automated Autonomous Driving Verification System Emerges to Reduce Repetitive Driving and Measurement Burden
Demonstration for Global Finished Vehicle Manufacturers
Autonomous driving specialist company Aceworks announced on the 9th that it has implemented a verification system that automates the repeatedly conducted driving tests and data measurements in the autonomous driving function verification process, and demonstrated this system to the autonomous driving test teams of global finished vehicle manufacturers.
The automated verification system implemented this time is designed to efficiently perform the repetitive tests and large-scale data measurement and analysis required at the mass-production verification stage after autonomous driving function development. It focuses on reducing dependence on test personnel and the time required in the existing manual testing method, and on stably performing repeated tests under identical conditions.
Through this demonstration, Aceworks implemented the verification procedure from driving tests to data collection and analysis with an automated infrastructure, and examined the feasibility of actual application with global finished vehicle manufacturers' test teams.
Park Seungbeom, CEO of Aceworks, said, "Repeated driving and data measurement are essential procedures in the process of verifying autonomous driving functions," adding, "This automated system is designed to enable more systematic execution of the tests required at the mass-production verification stage."
