'Waterbomb Seoul 2026' To Be Held at KINTEX...Enhanced Large-Scale Infrastructure and Transportation Convenience
'Waterbomb Seoul 2026' will welcome audiences at KINTEX. The organizers of Waterbomb announced that the 2026 Seoul show will be held from July 24 to 26 at the KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage (KINTEX Exhibition Center 2). With this, Waterbomb Seoul will be held at KINTEX for the third consecutive year since 2024.
KINTEX, selected as the venue, boasts infrastructure optimized for operating large-scale outdoor festivals. It offers a spacious outdoor area that can accommodate Waterbomb's signature large-scale stages and water-fighting content, while also utilizing large indoor exhibition halls equipped with air conditioning to provide restrooms, storage facilities, F&B zones, and extensive cooling rest areas. This setup is designed to prevent heat-related illnesses caused by heat waves and to offer a comfortable and safe viewing environment.
This year, accessibility from downtown Seoul and the greater Gyeonggi area has further improved thanks to a major expansion of transportation infrastructure. The opening of the GTX-A (Great Train Express-A) metropolitan express railway section from Seoul Station to Suseo Station in June, in addition to the existing Unjeong–Seoul Station section, will significantly reduce travel times. As a result, it will take only 15 minutes to travel from Seoul Station to KINTEX, and about 30 minutes from Suseo Station in Seoul's Gangnam area to the festival venue.
In addition, the organizers have prepared detailed transportation measures to enhance audience convenience. A total of 15 shuttle bus routes connecting major hubs in Seoul and the Gyeonggi region will operate as direct lines to the venue, and reservations will be handled through the official partner, Queensmile. Furthermore, KINTEX's large on-site parking facilities have been secured for visitors using their own cars, alleviating chronic parking concerns often associated with festivals.
A Waterbomb representative said, "Based on the operational know-how accumulated at KINTEX over the past three years, we will create an even more systematic and safer festival this year," adding, "In particular, as large crowds are expected, we will further strengthen safety measures such as crowd-density management so that audiences can enjoy the event with peace of mind."
This year's Seoul show, in particular, is part of a world tour that will visit major cities around the globe in 2026, including Las Vegas, and is expected to serve as a symbolic stage that encapsulates the originality and essence of the global tour.
