The meeting was attended by Namyangju Mayor Joo Gwangdeok, relevant public officials, and 11 parents of students at Namyangju Sinchon Elementary School.
The event was conducted in a format that allowed for free exchange of opinions, and the city focused on listening attentively and empathizing in its communication.
Mayor Joo Gwangdeok stressed, "Education policy begins with communication on the ground," adding, "The vivid voices of parents will become the driving force that advances education in Namyangju to the next level."
One parent who attended the meeting said, "It was meaningful to be able to comfortably talk about the concerns we feel in the field of education," and added, "I hope this communication will serve as an opportunity to improve our children's educational environment."
