Namyangju Disabled Sports Association Holds Regular Board Meeting, Launches Full-Fledged Drive to Promote Sports for People with Disabilities
Namyangju City Reviews and Approves 2026 Disabled Sports Business Plan and Budget Bill
Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 4th that the Namyangju City Disabled Sports Association held its regular board meeting at Me & Party in Hwado-eup and reviewed key agenda items, including the 2026 business plan and budget bill.

View original imageThe board meeting, attended by about 60 executives of the Namyangju City Disabled Sports Association, was convened to share the operational performance of the past year and to discuss the policy direction and implementation tasks for disabled sports in the new year. The meeting began with the national ceremony and opening, followed by the presentation of appointment letters to executives and the deliberation of agenda items.
At the meeting, changes in executive positions and the results of the 2025 audit were reported. This was followed by deliberation on the 2025 business results and the income and expenditure settlement plan, as well as deliberation and approval of a total of nine agenda items, including the 2026 business plan and the income and expenditure budget bill.
The 2026 business plan includes: revitalizing daily sports for people with disabilities by sport and by type; expanding daily sports for people with disabilities by supporting participation in various competitions; and discovering and fostering athletes for elite sports competitions. Through these initiatives, the city plans to expand opportunities for participation in sports for people with disabilities and to establish a systematic foundation for athlete development.
At the meeting, appointment letters were also presented to newly appointed executives. By sharing the appointments of new vice presidents and directors, as well as changes in positions, the association refined its operational structure.
