Daejeon Tourism Organization Recruiting for "Daejeon-Sejong Tourism and MICE Startup" Program
Up to 30 Million Won in Business Funding and Capacity-Building Support
for 13 Promising Startups
The Daejeon Tourism Organization is publicly recruiting for the "2026 Daejeon-Sejong Tourism and MICE Startup" program to discover and support creative and innovative promising startups in the Daejeon and Sejong regions, with the aim of fostering a tourism and MICE startup ecosystem.
The application period runs from January 30 to February 20. Eligible business types for applicant companies include: ▲ tourism experience services, ▲ regionally specialized content, ▲ tourism and MICE infrastructure, and ▲ tourism deep tech. Startups at various stages of growth (preliminary, early-stage, regionally specialized, growth, and boost-up) can apply according to their development cycle.
For detailed information regarding the contest, companies wishing to participate through the Daejeon-Sejong Tourism Enterprise Support Center must register as members and input their company information on the Korea Tourism Industry Portal before submitting the required application documents.
Thirteen companies selected through a document review and presentation evaluation will receive a variety of benefits, including up to 30 million won in business funding, support through a professional acceleration program, office space within the Daejeon-Sejong Tourism Enterprise Support Center, assistance with corporate promotion and sales channels, investment attraction, and support for recruiting local tourism talent.
