The "Our Home Move-in Talk" is a communication session designed to address questions about major schedules and facility operations before moving into apartment complexes, allowing participants to confirm details on-site and coordinate potential sources of conflict in advance.
Previously, communication during the apartment move-in process was often limited to checking information provided by the construction company online, leading to calls for more direct interaction throughout the process.
In response, the city introduced the "Our Home Move-in Talk," enabling prospective residents and construction companies to meet on-site, explain key matters, and engage in Q&A sessions. City officials and construction company representatives jointly responded to residents' questions on the spot.
During the session, after a briefing by the construction company on the progress of the project, city officials and construction company representatives answered questions from prospective residents about topics such as the opening schedule of daycare centers, detailed move-in timelines, and the shared use of community facilities.
In particular, the city played a role in preventing conflicts by sharing feedback raised during the move-in process with the construction company and seeking solutions through consultation when adjustments were needed.
Starting with this initial on-site communication, the city plans to gradually expand the "Our Home Move-in Talk" program to other apartment sites, aiming to reduce social costs caused by disputes and to establish the "Uijeongbu-Style Residential Safety Model" that enhances resident satisfaction.
Heo Namjun, Head of the Housing Division, stated, "This communication session was organized so that prospective residents can directly address their questions on-site," adding, "We will continue to focus on on-site communication to minimize inconveniences for citizens during the move-in process for apartment complexes."
