President Lee to Hold Gyeongnam Town Hall on February 6: "Seeking a Path Forward Together"
President Lee Jaemyung will hold his ninth town hall meeting in Gyeongnam on February 6.
On January 30, President Lee stated on his X account (formerly Twitter), "Gyeongsangnam-do, where Korea's core manufacturing industries such as shipbuilding, defense, aerospace, and machinery are most densely concentrated, is fully equipped with the essential foundations for future industries."
President Lee emphasized, "With numerous industrial complexes, abundant human resources, and a vast amount of data accumulated in the field, Gyeongnam's potential for development is limitless. Now, based on these industrial capabilities, it is time to innovate manufacturing processes and expand advanced technology industries to further strengthen our future competitiveness."
He also said, "Through an ultra-wide-area transportation network and industrial ecosystem that connects Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam as one, we must seek ways for Gyeongnam to emerge as a new growth axis for Korea. This town hall meeting marks the starting point of that journey. I urge the residents to share your wisdom and experience."
