The two companies will be able to pursue various initiatives, including collaborations with local educational institutions, content localization, and hosting literacy competitions.
"Read for School," launched by VisualCamp last year, is a public education program equipped with AI-based eye-tracking technology that helps diagnose and improve students’ literacy skills in a personalized manner. The program extracts students’ gaze data from the device’s front-facing camera, analyzes their reading patterns, and provides optimized learning pathways. This program has been adopted by approximately 450 schools this year.
"Read AI," developed subsequently, is designed for the private education market to help students enhance their learning abilities through reading experiences. Students receive book recommendations through computer-based literacy assessments and engage in post-reading activities based on eye-tracking data. Currently, 200 academies nationwide are using the program.
