Kim Seyoung has been selected as a player to watch for the 2026 season of the LPGA Tour.
On January 27 (local time), Golf Digest, a leading American golf media outlet, announced its list of 15 players to watch ahead of this year’s LPGA Tour season opener. Kim Seyoung was named alongside Kim Arim and Choi Hyejin.

View original imageThe outlet introduced Kim Seyoung by stating, "Last year, she recorded one victory and finished in the top 10 ten times," adding, "Her performance on par-5 holes, with an average of 4.55 strokes, ranked among the best on tour." Kim Seyoung has achieved 13 career wins on the LPGA Tour. She claimed victory at the BMW Ladies Championship in October last year, marking her first win in five years since November 2020.
Regarding Kim Arim, the winner of the 2025 season opener, the report noted, "She finished in the top 10 nine times and performed well by tying for fourth at the major AIG Women’s Open." As for Choi Hyejin, it stated, "She had nine top-10 finishes last year, the most among players without a win," and predicted, "She has a chance to claim her first tour victory this year."
