FSS to Hold 2026 Special Financial Lectures for University Freshmen to Prevent Financial Fraud

The Financial Supervisory Service announced on January 27 that it will conduct special financial lectures to improve basic financial knowledge among university freshmen and prevent financial fraud.

View original imageDuring the university freshman orientation period, from February 19 to March 31, the program will be conducted in the format chosen by each university-special lectures, educational videos, or textbooks.
The special lectures will be delivered in person for two hours by a Financial Supervisory Service financial education professor. Two educational videos, each under four minutes, will also be provided. The textbooks will include information on various methods to prevent financial fraud.
The program will teach the basics of financial transactions and methods to prevent financial fraud that are essential for university students. It will also cover proper saving and investment methods, credit management, and student loans.
Applications will be accepted from January 27 to February 2. All universities nationwide are eligible to apply, and applications can be submitted through the Financial Supervisory Service's 'e-Financial Education Center' website.
