Cha Jooyoung of "The Glory" Temporarily Halts Activities Due to Health Issues
Agency: "Underwent Surgery for Recurrent Symptoms"
Disruptions to "Sister" Film Promotions and Other Schedules
Actress Cha Jooyoung, who rose to stardom through Netflix's "The Glory," is temporarily suspending her activities due to health reasons.
Her agency, Ghost Studio, announced on January 26, "Due to health issues, Cha Jooyoung will not be able to attend her scheduled official events and some activities for the time being."
Recently, Cha Jooyoung visited the hospital after experiencing prolonged and recurrent nosebleeds. Based on the medical team's opinion, she underwent surgery in the otolaryngology department. The agency explained, "She is currently in a stage where recovery and observation are necessary," and added, "She plans to focus on treatment and take a break for the time being."
This suspension of activities is expected to cause some disruptions to her upcoming projects. Cha Jooyoung starred in the film "Sister," which is set to be released on January 28, as well as the ENA drama "Climax," scheduled to air in March. For "Sister," which is about to premiere, her participation in promotional activities, including stage greetings, has become uncertain.
