Kim Dongyeon Says Seoul Bus Strike Resolution Is "Truly Fortunate... Will Ensure Commuting for Residents"
Kim Dongyeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, expressed his relief over the resolution of the Seoul city bus strike, stating, "It is truly fortunate."
On the 15th, Governor Kim posted on his social networking service (SNS), "The labor-management negotiations for Seoul city buses were concluded overnight," adding, "It is truly fortunate that bus operations resumed as normal from the first service today."
He went on to say, "I would like to thank the city officials and bus workers who worked hard to operate alternative routes in Gyeonggi Province during the strike," and promised, "Gyeonggi Province will take full responsibility for ensuring the commuting and travel of our residents."
