Book Talks to Be Held Twice on January 23 and 30
Kyobo Bookstore announced on January 12, 2026, that it will host a book talk program titled "A Special Encounter with Art - Winter Art Salon" to mark the New Year and cater to readers interested in the arts.
This event is the first installment of an annual series that sequentially highlights different fields of art. For the winter season, the focus is on "art," providing an opportunity for readers and authors to meet in person.

The book talks will be held twice at Kyobo Bookstore's Workend Hall, on January 23 and January 30, with up to 70 participants per session. The first lecture will feature author Lee Soyoung of "A Night Reading Paintings" and author Oh Grim of "Art World Tour," who will discuss "My Own Way of Appreciating Art More Clearly." On January 30, authors Lee Jian and Lee Jungwoo of "Renting a Museum: Italy Edition" will participate, introducing the process by which art, history, and culture accumulate, with a focus on Italian museums.
Starting with this "Winter Art Salon," Kyobo Bookstore plans to sequentially present a seasonal art book talk series, with "classical music" as the theme for spring and "film" for summer.
