Jangseong County Launches Livestock Subsidy Programs Including Odor Reduction Agents and Hanwoo Weight Gain Support
Jangseong County in Jeonnam announced on January 8 that it is accepting applications for livestock subsidy programs.
The "Livestock Farm Subsidy Program" is designed to enhance the competitiveness of livestock products by providing support tailored to each type of livestock. This year, the county will implement a total of 31 projects, including support for livestock farm odor reduction agents, support for improving Hanwoo cattle weight gain rates, support for swine farm feed management improvement agents, support for calcium supplements for poultry, and support for beekeeping equipment.
Livestock farmers wishing to apply for these subsidies must visit their local township administrative welfare centers by January 23 to submit their applications. In February, the county will hold a review session through the Livestock, Rural, and Forestry Subcommittee to finalize the list of recipients, after which it will accept grant applications. Subsidy payments and settlements will be carried out by the end of the year.
