Dobong-gu to Open Snow Sledding Site on the 26th, Accommodating Up to 600 Visitors at Once

Dobong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Oh Unseok) will operate a snow sledding site at the baseball field of the Dobong Athlete Village, Sungkyunkwan University, from December 26 to February 1 next year. The facility can accommodate up to 600 people at once.

View original imageThe snow sledding site will feature a large slide measuring 80 meters in length, 15 meters in width, and 7 meters in height, as well as various amusement rides such as a mini rail train and air bumper cars.
For families, there will be hands-on activities like balloon popping and baseball pitching, along with cultural performances such as puppet shows.
The site will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is free for Dobong-gu residents, while residents from other districts will be charged 2,000 won. In addition to regular closure on Mondays, the site may close depending on weather conditions. Detailed schedules and closure notices can be found on the Dobong-gu website.
Although parking is available on site, visitors are encouraged to walk or use public transportation due to the expected crowds. For safety, staff will be stationed at major facilities such as the large slide, and emergency personnel will be on duty at the first aid station. To ensure a pleasant and safe environment, pets are not allowed.
