Capturing the Beauty of Paper... Murim Paper Unveils 2026 Calendar
70th Anniversary Special Edition
Murim Paper announced on December 16 that it has released a special edition "2026 Murim Calendar" to mark its 70th anniversary.
The 2026 Murim Calendar reimagines paper not just as a material for printed matter, but as the "protagonist of art and life." The calendar features works that use paper in various techniques to convey messages, highlighting the intrinsic beauty of paper. Each page is accompanied by a meaningful phrase that harmonizes with the featured artwork, such as "Paper carries the heart when folded, and becomes gentle when unfolded," and "Paper builds thoughts and lays the foundation for tomorrow." These expressions of paper's role and value offer hope and inspiration to those welcoming the new year.
This edition of the Murim Calendar consists of a wall calendar, a mini desk calendar, and bookmark merchandise, allowing people to experience the emotional and aesthetic qualities of paper in various spaces. To more vividly convey the color and texture of the featured works, Murim Paper used "Artigen," a high-quality rough gloss paper commonly found in exhibition catalogs and idol photo books. With its excellent color reproduction and luxurious surface, each page is crafted to a level that allows it to be appreciated as an interior poster.
