[Polpol News] President Lee's Approval Rating Rises to 62%, Up 4 Percentage Points
Democratic Party of Korea 44%, People Power Party 20%
The approval rating for President Lee Jaemyung's administration has risen to 62%.
According to the National Barometer Survey (NBS) conducted by Embrain Public, KSTAT Research, Korea Research, and Hankook Research from December 8 to 10, 2025, targeting 1,000 adults aged 18 and older nationwide, 62% of respondents gave a positive assessment of President Lee's administration. This figure is up 4 percentage points from the previous survey conducted two weeks earlier.
The negative assessment rate was 30%, a decrease of 2 percentage points compared to the previous survey.
In terms of party support, the Democratic Party of Korea recorded 44%, while the People Power Party stood at 20%. Compared to the previous survey, support for the Democratic Party increased by 5 percentage points, whereas support for the People Power Party fell by 2 percentage points.

The NBS survey was conducted through telephone interviews using 100% mobile virtual numbers. The margin of error is ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level, and the response rate was 18.8%.
