CGV Introduces Recliner Theaters at Eighteen Locations
Recliner Seats Installed in Seventy Theaters Nationwide
Centum City and Pyeongtaek Undergo Renovations
On December 11, CGV announced that it had introduced recliner seats to seventy theaters across eighteen locations nationwide this year. These locations include Gangneung, Changwon The City, Daegu Jukjeon, Jeju Noheung, Daegu Hanil, Daegu Stadium, Incheon, Goyang Baekseok, Gwangju Cheomdan, and Dongnae, among others.
Recliner seats were also installed at four key ScreenX locations: Yongsan I'Park Mall, Yeongdeungpo Times Square, Wangsimni, and Hongdae. In addition, both Centum City and Pyeongtaek underwent comprehensive theater environment upgrades along with the introduction of recliner seats. Furthermore, CGV expanded its food and beverage areas and renovated convenience facilities such as lobbies, concession stands, and kiosks.

Godeok Gangil and Paju Unjeong, which opened this year, were also equipped with premium infrastructure. At Godeok Gangil, which opened in April, recliner seats were installed in five out of eight theaters, and special formats such as ScreenX and 4DX were also introduced. Paju Unjeong, which opened on December 5, consists entirely of theaters with recliner seats.
