The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on December 9 that they concluded this year's overseas tour with "Series On Board: London," which was held in London, United Kingdom, from November 26 to 28.
"Series On Board" is a program that connects domestic small and medium-sized production companies with major overseas platforms and buyers for joint planning and production. This year, the event was held in four countries-Japan, Thailand, Spain, and the United Kingdom-resulting in 546 business consultations.
Park Innam, Head of the Broadcasting and Video Division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, stated, "To promote joint production between domestic production companies and global partners, we will establish region-specific strategies and continue to enhance the intellectual property (IP) negotiation capabilities of small and medium-sized broadcasting and video production companies."

View original imageThe event held in Madrid, Spain, from September 30 to October 2 featured the participation of eight companies, including EO Content Group, Studio Target, and Whynot Media. They conducted 104 consultations with 63 buyers from Spain and the Hispanic regions. The total value of these consultations is estimated at approximately 42.89 million US dollars (about 61.8 billion won). Notably, EO Content Group signed a business agreement with Spanish production company Pokipsi Films, laying the groundwork for joint entry into the European and Spanish-speaking markets.

The London event was organized in collaboration with the Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television (PACT). From Korea, six drama production companies-including Mr. Romance, Vincent, and Studio Target-and three non-drama production companies-including Something Special, AK Entertainment, and Hong Pictures-participated. They engaged in pitching and business matching programs with 39 representatives from the UK content industry.
