Icheon City Signs 6.7 Billion Won Investment Agreement with Pet Food Company "Mamidocder"
Factory Expansion and Enhanced R&D Infrastructure Planned by 2028
On December 8, the city of Icheon in Gyeonggi Province signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Mamidocder Co., Ltd., a pet food company, to attract new investment.

View original imageFounded in 1995, Mamidocder is a company that produces customized pet food and nutritional supplements. It holds a 25% share of the domestic premium pet food market.
Under this agreement, the company will invest 6.7 billion won to secure an additional 85,353 square meters of land adjacent to its existing factory in Moga-myeon. By 2028, it plans to expand its production lines and strengthen its research and development (R&D) infrastructure.
The city plans to provide close administrative support by forming an investment attraction task force (TF), expediting permits and approvals, and implementing a customized investment cooperation officer system for companies.
Sangoh Park, CEO of Mamidocder, stated, "Building on Icheon City's investment vision and administrative support, we will expand our factory and advance our technology to grow into a premium pet food company with global competitiveness."

Kyunghee Kim, Mayor of Icheon, said, "Mamidocder's investment will also contribute to diversifying Icheon's industrial structure," adding, "We will continue to focus the city's capabilities on creating an environment where companies can trust and invest."
