"No Issues with Optimization or Overheating... iPhone 17 Pro Boosts Gaming Performance"
Apple: "Collaborating with Developers to Deliver an Immersive Gaming Experience"
NCSoft, Netmarble, Krafton, Com2uS, and Devsisters Participate
"I believe Apple devices maximize gaming performance. They offer excellent graphics optimization and compatibility across devices, and generate less heat, allowing for longer play sessions on the iPhone."
Apple held its first-ever gaming showcase in Korea on December 2 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. At the event, Apple highlighted the iPhone 17 Pro's improved graphics processing capabilities and fast response speed, demonstrating stable performance across a range of titles from AAA (blockbuster-level) games to casual genres. The iPad and Mac have also improved their displays, chipsets, and connectivity to further enhance gaming performance.
Apple emphasized that these devices are equipped with the most powerful and efficient chip in its history, the 'A19 Pro.' The company plans to continue strengthening its immersive gaming environment within the Apple ecosystem by expanding collaborations with developers in the future.
At the event, developers from five game studios showcased their titles on Apple devices. These included NCSoft's "Aion 2," Devsisters' "Cookie Run: OvenSmash," Krafton's "Enjoy," Netmarble's "Seven Knights Rebirth," and Com2uS's "Dowonamgui: Crimson Inferno."
"Dowonamgui: Crimson Inferno" drew particular attention as it is set to be released as a game while the original Japanese animation is currently airing. Even before optimization, the colors and dynamic movements made it feel as if one were watching the actual animation. A Com2uS representative said, "This is the first time we are showcasing the game in Korea in a demo format since its initial unveiling at the Tokyo Game Show this year. We will do our best to launch it in the first half of next year."

Baek Seungwook, Chief Business Officer (CBO) at NCSoft, stated, "The iPhone 17 Pro currently runs 'Aion 2' better than any other mobile device. It would be great if Apple developed a dedicated gaming device."
Netmarble enabled various ways to enjoy "Seven Knights Rebirth" by utilizing the "Apple Games" app, adding a "friend invite" feature to encourage adventure and competition with others. This function operates exclusively in the iOS environment. A Netmarble representative said, "It is used more globally than domestically," and added, "We plan to add various missions, such as consecutive wins in duels."
Devsisters, preparing to launch "Cookie Run: OvenSmash" in March next year, gave particularly positive feedback on Apple's chipset. A Devsisters representative explained, "When entering seamless maps, GPU load can cause delays, but the Apple chipset helps reduce this. We are developing the 'Plaza'-the gathering space for users after logging in-to accommodate around 30 to 50 players."
Krafton demonstrated its life simulation game "Enjoy" on the Mac. A Krafton representative said, "The fact that it runs stably even on lower-end systems is a key advantage of the silicon chip (M series) architecture. Optimized rendering speeds also help the Mac's integrated CPU solution deliver strong performance." However, they estimated that it would take another two to three years before "Enjoy" is released.
