"Trusted" Livestock Products... Ulsan Health and Environment Research Institute Nationally Certified for Livestock Testing Capabilities This Year
“Acceptable” Rating in Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Proficiency Assessment
Achieved for Three Consecutive Years
Behind the trust in Ulsan’s livestock products stand these dedicated professionals.
The Ulsan Health and Environment Research Institute received an “acceptable” rating with excellent results in the “2025 Proficiency Assessment for Livestock Product Testing and Inspection Agencies,” organized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
This assessment is a system designed to secure and maintain accurate and reliable analytical capabilities in the field of livestock product testing. It is conducted annually for municipal and provincial health and environment research institutes, private food and livestock product testing and inspection agencies, and six regional offices of the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
This year’s proficiency assessment began in the first half with the physicochemical (preservatives) category, and continued in the second half with the microbiological (coliform group) category and the residual pesticide (fipronil) category in eggs.
As a result, the Health and Environment Research Institute received an “acceptable” rating in all categories, earning government recognition for its analytical accuracy and reliability as a testing and inspection agency in the field of livestock products.
