Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Corporation to Hold Briefing on Gadeokdo New Airport Site Preparation Project
First Step After Announcement to Normalize New Airport Site Preparation Work
Project Briefing Session on Site Preparation Work Held for Construction Industry
The site preparation work, a key phase in the construction of the Gadeokdo New Airport in Busan, has finally taken its first step.
The Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Corporation (Chairman Lee Yoonsang) will hold a project briefing session for the Gadeokdo New Airport site preparation work at 2 p.m. on November 26 in the main auditorium of the Korea Technology Finance Corporation Annex, located in the Munhyeon-dong financial district of Busan.
This briefing session was organized to provide an overview of the site preparation project, construction period, and main contents of the bidding guidelines to the construction industry and related parties, following the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's announcement to restart the site preparation work on November 21. The aim is to encourage active participation from the construction sector in the bidding process.
The bidding guidelines are documents that provide bidders with standards and criteria related to bidding and contracts for the project, including eligibility screening, selection of successful bidders, evaluation, and penalty criteria.
The session is open to companies interested in the site preparation work, including those in construction and engineering. Companies wishing to participate can download the pre-registration application form from the corporation or the Korea Construction Association website and submit it via email.
