View original imageThe UNICEF Korea Committee (Chairman Chung Kapyoung) announced that Shotaro, a member of the group RIIZE, donated 25 million KRW on November 25, his birthday, under the name of the RIIZE fan club, BRIIZE, to support the healthy growth of children around the world.
Shotaro said, "I wanted to give back to BRIIZE for their support, so I decided to make a donation on my birthday. As I have received so much love, I also want to share love and happiness in various ways. Although it may be a small gesture, I hope it can help someone."
Jo Mijin, Secretary-General of the UNICEF Korea Committee, stated, "We sincerely thank Shotaro for making such a meaningful contribution for children around the world on his birthday. The warmth and positive influence you have shared will bring great hope and courage to children everywhere who are facing difficult days."

In February 2023, Shotaro made a donation to support children and victims affected by the earthquake in T?rkiye. Since September, he has been spreading positive influence by participating in the 'UNICEF Team' campaign, which was organized to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the social contribution agreement between the UNICEF Korea Committee and SM Entertainment.
