Since 2022, this program has been operated to identify companies that excel in compliance with the Dealer Act and in collaborative growth with their dealers.
Among the seven companies selected this year, Dongil Rubber Belt was the only company to be newly recognized.
This system comprehensively evaluates various criteria, including transaction transparency with dealers, the proportion of fair contract signings, operation of voluntary compliance programs, and collaborative activities. Only seven to eight companies are selected each year. Companies that are selected receive certification from the Korea Fair Trade Commission and are entitled to use the 'Dealer Partner Company' designation.
At the selection ceremony held at the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry on November 18, Joo Byungki, Chairperson of the Korea Fair Trade Commission, met with company representatives to share best practices. He stated, "Dongil Rubber Belt maintains an average actual transaction period of 21 years and 5 months with its dealers, and 94.5% of its dealers have maintained long-term contracts for over five years, demonstrating the kind of long-term partnership befitting a Dealer Partner Company."
Taniyama Ken, CEO of Dongil Rubber Belt, said, "We will continue to strengthen our compliance management," and added, "I hope that more longstanding cases of mutual growth in the manufacturing sector will be actively discovered, and that many manufacturers who have contributed to making Korea a manufacturing powerhouse will join this initiative."
