Woojin Industrial Systems Delivers First Hydrogen Bus... 708 km Range
Woojin Industrial Systems announced that it held a ceremony at its Gimcheon factory on November 20 to commemorate the first delivery of its Apollo 900 hydrogen bus (9-meter class). The delivery ceremony was attended by Woojin Industrial Systems President Kim Junghyun, executives and employees, officials from Gimcheon City Hall, as well as representatives from bus companies and hydrogen high-pressure container manufacturers.
The Apollo 900 hydrogen bus is equipped with a 28.8 kg hydrogen tank and a 74.8 kW lithium-ion battery. With a single charge, it can travel up to 708 km and has a capacity of 41 passengers. The company has set a target of delivering 90 units next year. After that, it plans to gradually increase sales to 150 to 200 units per year, aiming to expand the domestic low-floor mid-sized hydrogen bus market. Woojin Industrial Systems is the second company in Korea to launch a hydrogen bus, following Hyundai Motor Company.
