On November 24, stocks related to reconstruction surged across the board amid expectations for an end to the Russia-Ukraine war.
As of 9:58 a.m. on this day, HD Hyundai Infracore was trading at 15,500 won, up 1,520 won (10.87%) from the previous trading day.
At the same time, other stocks included in the Ukraine reconstruction theme such as HD Hyundai Construction Equipment (up 9.29%), Dasco (up 5.92%), SYSTEELTECH (up 8.26%), Daedong Gear (up 18.12%), and SG (up 7.71%) were also showing strong performance.
This is interpreted as a result of heightened investor interest after high-ranking U.S. officials, including Secretary of State Mark Rubio, met with Ukrainian and major European authorities in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 23 (local time) to discuss peace initiatives aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine war.
