Man Arrested After Stabbing Woman in Her 20s and Fleeing from Gangnam Academy in Seoul
A man in his 50s who stabbed a woman in her 20s with a weapon at a private academy in Gangnam District, Seoul, and fled the scene, has been apprehended by the police.
The Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced on November 21 that they had urgently arrested a man in his 50s, identified as A, on suspicion of attempted murder.
According to the police, at around 11:50 a.m. on the same day, A is suspected of stabbing the female victim with a weapon at an academy in Gangnam District, Seoul, and then fleeing the scene.
The police analyzed CCTV footage and were able to confirm that A had fled by taxi. In cooperation with the Mapo Police Station, they apprehended A in Mapo District.
The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and is reported to be in stable condition with no life-threatening injuries.
