"Big Hit Expected"... This Time, the Low Torque Putter
Scotty Cameron's New Performance Putter OC Gains Popularity
All 34-Inch Units Sold Out Within Two Days of Launch
A Perfect Balance of Stability and Feel Drives Sellout Success
It looks like a big hit is on the way. The new performance putter, OC (Onset Center), from Scotty Cameron-the master of putters renowned by Titleist-is gaining popularity. Following last year’s success with the Zero Torque putter, this time, the Low Torque model is receiving an enthusiastic response. On November 20, Titleist commented with a big smile, “It is extremely difficult to secure inventory of the main 34-inch model in the market.”
The initial response to the OC putter has been explosive. Based on City Tour Van sales, all 34-inch units sold out within two days of its release on November 14. All five Titleist Fitting Studio locations (Dosan, COEX, Jamsil, Hannam, and Busan) have also sold out their entire stock.

Choi Seungbin delivered impressive results with this putter, entering the top 5 five times this year, including a victory at the KPGA Tour The Charity Classic last month.
The OC putter is a meticulously crafted product, refined based on feedback accumulated on tour sites. It was designed with tour players’ preferences in mind: minimizing face rotation during the stroke while delivering the signature soft and rich feel at impact. The lineup includes two models: the Phantom 11R OC and the Studio Style Fastback OC. Both models feature a precision alignment system, black shaft, and a tapered Matador mid grip.
Its unique structure aligns the putter shaft just behind the head’s leading edge and at the center of the head’s center of gravity, maximizing the balance between stroke stability and feel. This design minimizes twisting during the putting stroke, reduces face rotation, and helps keep the club on a square path.

Typically, putters with low torque offer greater stability but tend to lack feel. To overcome this, the OC putter adopts a head balance approximately 15 grams heavier than previous models. This reduces unnecessary vibrations while delivering clear feedback from the club head to the golfer’s hands.

An exclusive shaft design was developed for the OC. A 1-degree shaft tilt is applied to promote a natural setup, allowing golfers to maintain a neutral hand position and line of sight at address. The chain link milling process is also a standout feature. This fine pattern reduces unnecessary vibrations at impact, providing tour-level precision in both feel and sound.
