Atom: "DST Wins 'Presidential Gold Award' at the 51st National Quality Management Convention"
Atom, a KOSDAQ-listed company, announced on November 20 that its subsidiary DST received the highest honor, the "Presidential Gold Award," at the 51st National Quality Management Convention held on November 19. This award recognizes DST's nationally acknowledged achievements in technological capability and quality innovation in the engine and module sectors.
The National Quality Management Convention is the most prestigious quality and production innovation awards ceremony in Korea, hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards. It comprehensively evaluates technological competitiveness, quality innovation, and productivity improvements to select the best-performing companies.
Over the past several years, DST has received high marks for its achievements in developing integrated technologies for core engine components (such as cylinder modules), commercializing process shortening and modularization technologies, and establishing a production system that meets global manufacturing quality standards. In particular, DST's recent selection as the sole vendor for Hanwha Engine's next-generation engine platform and its expanded technological partnerships were also cited as key reasons for the award.
A DST representative stated, "We have proven the highest level of quality competitiveness that a domestic company can demonstrate in the engine and module sector," adding, "With this award as momentum, we expect to accelerate the expansion of our global customer base and secure new orders."
