The Jeonnam Provincial Environmental Health Center prepared a variety of programs to help residents easily understand the relationship between the environment and health.
The main programs included: ▲ distribution of environmental health information materials ▲ nitric oxide (NO) testing and education on managing environmentally induced diseases ▲ provision of basic health services such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks ▲ an atopic dermatitis prevention board game ("Let's Go to the Bijasup Forest") ▲ upcycling bottle cap keyring making and other eco-friendly experiences for children ▲ a survey on environmental health awareness with commemorative gifts. These activities were designed so that participants could experience education, hands-on activities, health screenings, and surveys all in one place.
Participants had the opportunity to recognize the importance of practicing environmental health in daily life and to easily learn related knowledge through the educational and experiential programs.
