View original imageThis year, South Gyeongsang Province newly designated a total of 18 daycare centers as public-type daycare centers. Among them, Yangsan City had six centers selected: three home-based daycare centers (Geumbit-i Daycare Center, Daebang-i Daycare Center, Lava Daycare Center) and three private daycare centers (Daebang Dain Daycare Center, Ivy Park Daycare Center, Easy The One Daycare Center). With this designation, the total number of public-type daycare centers in Yangsan City has expanded to 24.
The public-type daycare center system is a program in which the city recommends outstanding non-government-supported daycare centers, and the provincial governor makes the final selection to provide support for operating and personnel expenses. Designated daycare centers are subject to stricter operating standards than general non-government-supported daycare centers and provide high-quality childcare services to infants, toddlers, and parents at a level comparable to public daycare centers.
