Hanul Semiconductor Develops Inductor External Inspection Machine Based on MLCC Technology
Hanul Semiconductor announced on the 17th that it has successfully developed and entered the market with its inductor external inspection machine. The achievement was made possible by leveraging the company’s accumulated experience and on-site expertise in MLCC (multilayer ceramic capacitor) external inspection and automated process equipment.
Demand for inductors for both IT and automotive applications is rapidly increasing. As their application for artificial intelligence (AI) servers is also expected to expand, the overall market is anticipated to continue growing steadily.
With rising demands for power and signal stability, the need to improve productivity is also increasing. Hanul Semiconductor’s inductor external inspection machine accurately detects coil defects, which are a core defect unique to inductor products. The machine also offers enhanced inspection processing speed, focusing on strengthening the quality competitiveness and operating rate of mass production lines.
Hanul Semiconductor has developed a dedicated optical system for inductors by utilizing the proven technological capabilities of its MLCC external inspection machines. This equipment is currently being supplied exclusively to a domestic company, S, and additional orders are expected as the client expands its production.
A company representative stated, “This order is an example of manufacturing and delivering more than 10 units of equipment at once within a relatively short lead time,” adding, “We expect new sales generated through our manufacturing technology.”
The representative continued, “Once again, Hanul Semiconductor’s differentiated machine vision technology has been recognized by the global conglomerate S. Moving forward, we will continue to enhance productivity through high-quality and high-speed inspections using high-resolution images, develop equipment tailored to our clients’ needs, and secure price competitiveness through ongoing research, thereby boosting our sales.”
