Amorepacific Wins CES Innovation Award for Seventh Consecutive Year
Awarded for "Skinsight™" Technology That Extends Skin Vitality
Amorepacific announced on November 10 that it has received the CES 2026 Innovation Award in the beauty tech category for its next-generation electronic skin platform, Skinsight™. With this, Amorepacific has won the CES Innovation Award for seven consecutive years.
Skinsight is a technology jointly developed by Amorepacific and a research team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. It is a next-generation electronic skin platform that analyzes the causes of skin aging in real time and provides personalized solutions for each individual.
Skinsight consists of an ultra-thin sensor patch that adheres to the skin, an ultra-compact Bluetooth module, and an artificial intelligence (AI)-based mobile application. The patch is equipped with a highly precise sensor that detects minute skin movements at the micrometer (μm) level, enabling it to simultaneously measure four aging factors: skin tightness, ultraviolet and blue light exposure, temperature, and moisture.
The skin data measured by the patch is transmitted in real time via the Bluetooth module, and the AI-based mobile application compiles 24-hour lifestyle data to model complex aging factors. Through this, users can identify the factors accelerating their individual skin aging, and receive predictions on the location and degree of future wrinkles or loss of elasticity, as well as customized skincare routines and product recommendations.
Skinsight features excellent breathability, ensuring it does not easily detach even with perspiration, and it adheres closely to the skin's contours for stable long-term operation. This makes it easy to obtain personalized data by tracking skin changes in various environments.
Amorepacific has published related research findings in prestigious international journals such as Science and Science Advances, and has registered four patents through PCT international applications in several countries, including the United States and Korea. This technology has also been used to demonstrate the effectiveness of Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum in improving skin tightness.

Seo Byunghwi, CTO and Head of Amorepacific's R&I Center, stated, "The Skinsight technology, which has received the CES Innovation Award this year, is an innovative platform that has evolved beyond simply 'observing' the skin to become a scientific tool for 'predicting and managing' it. We aim to usher in a new era by predicting the causes of skin aging and continuously enhancing individual beauty, thereby extending the vitality of the skin."
