Sowon Company Wins Gyeonggi Province Governor's Award at 'G-FAIR KOREA 2025 Excellent Product Awards'
Sowon Company Co., Ltd. (CEO Eunchan So), a premium Korean liquor brand making its mark in the global market, has been selected for the "G-FAIR KOREA 2025 (28th Korea Excellent Products Exhibition)" Excellent Product Awards and received the Gyeonggi Province Governor's Award.
This recognition was the result of a comprehensive evaluation of product innovation, design, and export competitiveness, conducted as part of the "Excellent Product Awards" at "G-FAIR KOREA 2025," which was hosted by Gyeonggi Province and co-organized by the Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA) and KOTRA.
Sowon Company was highly rated, achieving second place overall across all five categories-beauty & fashion, food, household goods, health, and tech-with its export fruit soju "RANG SOJU," Jeju aloe traditional liquor "SUULSUUP," and premium oak-aged liquor "SEOKYANG."
CEO Eunchan So stated, "This award is the result of our efforts to reinterpret Korean liquor in a modern way and expand the value of K-spirit in the global market," adding, "We will continue to do our best to promote the beauty and story of Korean liquor on the world stage."
"G-FAIR KOREA" is the largest comprehensive exhibition for small and medium-sized enterprises in Korea, hosted by Gyeonggi Province and co-organized by GBSA and KOTRA. Each year, more than 800 domestic companies and buyers from over 60 countries participate. This year's "G-FAIR KOREA 2025" was held at KINTEX in Goyang from October 30 to November 1, marking the largest event in its history. The products of the award-winning companies were separately showcased in the "Awards Zone" within the exhibition hall, drawing significant attention from visitors.
