CSR Participates in Official Program "Wine & Liquor Fair 2025" at APEC CEO Summit
The VIN CSR (hereinafter referred to as CSR) participated in the official cultural program "Wine & Liquor Fair 2025" at the "APEC CEO Summit 2025," where world leaders and global corporate executives gathered in one place. The event was held in Gyeongju from October 29 to 31 during the APEC Summit, serving as a new stage where traditions and innovations from around the world converged, creating a unique intersection of culture and business. At the "Wine & Liquor Fair 2025," CSR showcased four portfolio brands representing the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, introducing the wine and liquor cultures of each country to global leaders.
"Wine & Liquor Fair 2025" was held under the theme "Where Culture Meets Commerce" as an official cultural program, highlighting the diversity of alcoholic beverage cultures and their industrial value through representative wines, whiskies, beers, and sakes from each country. All beverages were selected based on the rigorous standards of Youngjin Yoo, General Manager of Walkerhill Hotel and winner of the 6th Korea Sommelier Competition. Youngjin Yoo personally explained the aromas and characteristics of each beverage to world leaders and global CEOs. In particular, the pairing lounge offered tastings with Korean traditional small table-style appetizers, such as Gaeseong Yakgwa, Juaak, and Walnut Persimmon Rolls, made with seasonal ingredients, introducing the Korean aesthetic of "balance between alcohol and food" to global leaders.
At this "Wine & Liquor Fair 2025," CSR presented a portfolio centered on leading brands from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. "Textbook" from the United States, a renowned Napa Valley winery known for its refined balance and elegant structure, featured its Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and Russian River Sauvignon Blanc on the tables of world leaders. Australia's "Mollydooker" drew attention for its bold flavors that capture the free spirit of McLaren Vale, with wines such as "Blue Eyed Boy" and "The Violinist" earning praise from wine enthusiasts worldwide for their vibrant style. New Zealand's "SOHO," a sensory wine brand combining fashion, art, and music, delivered both purity and sophistication through its "SOHO Stella Sauvignon Blanc." Japan's "Kiuchi Brewery," a brewery with a 200-year tradition, showcased "Hitachino Nest Daisy Ale," "Kikusakari Junmaishu," and "Hinomaru Signature 1823," harmoniously expressing Japanese craftsmanship and modern sensibility.
This "Wine & Liquor Fair 2025" was more than a simple exhibition of alcoholic beverages; it became a symbolic stage where national leaders and global owners shared the cultures and values of their countries through a glass of liquor. As a leading importer of alcoholic beverages in Korea, CSR emphasized through this gathering with global leaders that liquor is not merely a consumer good but a language that connects cultures.
