On November 3, Atinum Investment announced that it had held the 'Atinum Game & Content Day 2025' at Drium Forest Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on October 30. The event was organized to help key figures in the game and content industries share global trends and market opportunities, as well as to strengthen networking. Choi Jaewon, Vice President of SAMG Entertainment, gave a lecture on successful strategies for character intellectual property (IP) businesses, using the case of 'Catch! Teenieping.' He emphasized, "Characters must achieve both emotional resonance and commercial sustainability," adding, "Korean character IPs can be highly competitive in the global market."
Park Dagyeom, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Blast, spoke about virtual idol business strategies, stating, "PLAVE is building a new form of IP that enables real-time interaction by merging virtual technology with content," and added, "We must expand the connection between artists and fans through fan experiences that transcend both online and offline."
Park Taejun, CEO of The Gream Entertainment and creator of the webtoon 'Lookism,' and Kumagai, Director at Sorajima (a Japanese webtoon production studio), shared their expertise on 'Differences and Growth Opportunities in the Korean and Japanese Webtoon & Manga Markets,' citing case studies based on their experiences in Japan.
Other prominent industry figures also spoke at the event, including Yoon Sunghyun, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of BY4M, the top emerging distributor in the first half of this year, and Bae Sujeong, CEO of LoadComplete, the developer of 'Legend of Slime.'
