Tving Revamps Live Service with "Instant Play" Structure
Operating 200 Channels
Personalized Recommendations Through Viewing Pattern Analysis
On October 30, Tving unveiled its completely revamped live service platform.
The core feature is its "instant play" structure. When users open the app, a popular live channel begins playing automatically, and scrolling down switches to the next channel. Switching to list view allows users to see popular channels at a glance, while tapping "View Schedule" at the top displays upcoming programs in a timetable format. A new function has also been added to recommend similar channels and related VOD content by analyzing viewing patterns.
The number of live channels has increased to about 200. The service now offers real-time news from KBS, YTN, and MBN, as well as popular dramas, entertainment shows, creator broadcasts, sports, and performances.
