On the afternoon of October 30, President Lee Jaemyung held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul of Thailand at the bilateral meeting venue of the Gyeongju International Media Center (HICO), where they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Before the meeting, President Lee greeted Prime Minister Anutin with a welcoming remark, saying "Welcome," and after the photo session, he initiated a handshake.
Attending the bilateral meeting from the Korean side were Minister of Foreign Affairs Cho Hyun, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Kim Jeonggwan, Chief Presidential Secretary Kang Hoonshik, National Security Advisor Wi Seongrak, Second Deputy Director of the National Security Office Lim Woongsun, and Chief Secretary for Economic Growth Ha Junkyung.
On the Thai side, attendees included Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Commerce Supachai Sutampan, Minister of Public Health Pattana Prompat, Ambassador to Korea Thanit Sangrat, and Secretary-General to the Prime Minister Traisuri Traisanarakul.
President Lee had his first phone call with Prime Minister Anutin since taking office on October 16, during which they agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, including concluding the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
