Woori Bank and KOSME Join Forces for Productive Finance to Support Regional Innovative Companies

Woori Bank announced on October 30 that it has signed a "Business Agreement for the Promotion of Non-Capital Region SMEs and Startups in Strategic Industries" together with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME).
By combining Woori Bank's financial expertise with KOSME's capabilities in nurturing businesses, the two organizations plan to establish tailored financial and non-financial support programs. These efforts are also linked to the productive finance transformation outlined in the "Woori Financial Group Future Co-Growth Project," with the goal of leading regional balanced development and innovation.
Going forward, Woori Bank will provide differentiated benefits such as increased corporate loan limits and preferential interest rates to non-capital region companies through the "Woori Regional Leading Company Loan" launched in September. KOSME will be responsible for promoting the program and for discovering and recommending outstanding companies outside the capital region. In addition, if companies using KOSME's "Co-Growth Network Loan" lack sufficient loan limits, Woori Bank will connect them to the "Woori CUBE Data Loan" to address funding shortages.
Furthermore, Woori Bank will support the sustainable growth of SMEs and mid-sized companies engaged in strategic industries by offering one-stop financial services-including funding, asset management, and consulting-through its "BIZ Prime Centers," dedicated corporate banking organizations located in major industrial complexes and business districts nationwide.
