BioBytes Signs MOU for Technological Collaboration with Samick THK
Mutual Synergy Expected Through Joint Research, Development, and Commercialization
BioBytes (CEO Lee Jungwoo) announced on October 20, 2025, that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for technological and business cooperation with Samick THK Co., Ltd. (CEO Jin Younghwan), a leading company in precision motion control and automation systems.
BioBytes plans to integrate its AI-based sarcopenia diagnostic support software with Samick THK's hip joint assistive wearable robot device, aiming not only for technological innovation but also to develop new business models between the two companies.
The two companies are already collaborating to develop an integrated solution for "AI-based muscle health improvement systems and exercise-assistive robot users," leveraging their respective core technologies.
Lee Jungwoo, CEO of BioBytes, stated, "We will introduce a next-generation solution that combines Samick THK's innovative technology with our core AI technology," adding, "Through sustainable collaboration, we aim to accelerate the digital transformation of the overall healthcare market related to muscle health."
Meanwhile, BioBytes is a company with AI technology for sarcopenia diagnostic support. Its technological capabilities have been recognized in various fields to date, and it is leading the related market with the ability to calculate sarcopenia risk within one minute.
Additionally, BioBytes is collaborating with medical institutions such as Wonju Severance Christian Hospital and Kangbuk Samsung Hospital to establish 'M-Bank,' the world's first multi-institutional sarcopenia patient blood biobank cohort database. Based on this database, the company has completed the development of 'Sarco-Finding,' an AI-based platform for discovering sarcopenia treatment biomarkers.

The company is also simultaneously conducting distribution businesses for its self-developed muscle synthesis and strength improvement health supplement "BiAct Tab" and the natural ingredient sleep-inducing health supplement "Nyrex Tab."
